Grant Peeples Returns to Fogartyville in Sarasota with TC Carr, Accompanied by Folk Musician Liana Gabel
Fogartyville is thrilled to welcome back contemporary folk troubadour Grant Peeples along with harmonica virtuoso TC Carr for a night of music and camaraderie on February 17 at 8 p.m.
Renowned for his incisive socio-political commentary wrapped in memorable melodies, Grant Peeples has become a fixture in the folk music scene. With a style that resonates with fans of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Peeples infuses his performances with wit, wisdom, and a healthy dose of humor. His latest album, “A Murder of Songs,” released to critical acclaim in 2023, further solidifies his reputation as a master storyteller.
Joining Peeples on stage will be TC Carr, whose harmonica prowess adds layers of depth and emotion to the duo’s sound. Together, they promise an evening of musical magic that transcends boundaries and touches hearts.
Opening the show is folk musician Liana Gabel, a multifaceted artist hailed for her unique blend of songwriting, singing, and tap dancing. Hailing from New York’s Hudson Valley, Gabel brings a fresh perspective to familiar themes, crafting songs that are simultaneously innovative and inviting.
