Free Live Rock Concert at The Flying Dog Café

Guitar Center Studios presents 3 bands for their first GCS Rockshow! of 2013.

Sarasota, FL Friday February 8^th 2013, Guitar Center Studios will kick off the first Rockshow! event of the year at The Flying Dog Café from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. The free live show will feature the newest GC Studios Rockshow! group Monroe along with the GC Studios All Star Group and special guest Kevin Blakely’s Band. Styles of the musical performances will range from jazz, pop to heavy rock.

Heavy rock group Monroe is the latest of several groups assembled by the Rockshow! program at Guitar Center Studios. This unique program coordinates musicians of similar skill and musical interest. An experienced band coach helps each member learn how to play together, produce music, and be a real band. Rockshow! members rehearse for 2 hours a week in a state-of-the-art rehearsal studio and learn 3–5 songs, complete with solos and performance techniques. At the end of the 2 month program each group performs in a free concert in front of their friends and family at a local venue.

A regular host of the Rockshow! program, The Flying Dog Café is offering free admission and a complimentary Bud draft with all sandwich orders before 7pm.
