Fort Myers River District Music Festival comes to Historic Downtown Fort Myers

The wonderful waterfront in historic downtown Fort Myers is the setting for the coming Fort Myers River District Music Festival. The event is a partnership endeavor between Paragon Festivals and the Fort Myers River District Alliance. Festivities began Friday evening at 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and continued through the weekend. General admission is free and sure to be an event with something for everyone.

Enjoy foods cooked fresh onsite (seafood, meat, vegetarian) with a variety of side dishes and desserts! Seafood is from Florida’s coastal waters, a sustainable and renewable resource. For drinks, choose from alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and fruit drinks.

While eating, listen to the captivating sounds of live musical performances on stage by some of Florida’s and the region’s top musical talents from such genres as R&B, jazz, rock, reggae and Caribbean sounds. Performances scheduled for Undr8ed Band, Hurricane Shane Band, YaYa Diamond Band, Nick Schnebelen, Thunder Beach, Mixed Signal Band, Memphis Lightning, Crossfire Creek Band, Paisley Craze, Dead Set Florida, Gas House Gorillas.

Don’t forget the amazing shopping that you can partake in during breaks in the music. Friends, family, and young and old will have a blast during the entire event. We can’t wait to see everyone out this weekend!
