Enjoy Wonderful Musical Offerings and Tantalizing Food at the Downtown Sarasota Blues Festival

Relaxation, good food, and amazing music are the recipe for a great weekend, and you can enjoy all three at the Downtown Sarasota Blues Festival this coming weekend. Join the fun at J.D. Hamel Park (Bayfront Drive) in Sarasota from March 3-5, 2023. The fun and relaxation begin Friday 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. and continues Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is Free and it is a pet friendly event!

Choose your foods from a diverse menu of barbeque and meat dishes (along with vegetarian and seafood), all cooked fresh on-site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Select from a diversity of side dishes and, of course – awesome desserts! Liquid refreshment includes selections of alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and fruit drinks, along with sodas and bottled water.

While enjoying your meal, sit back and relax to musical entertainment consisting of live-on-stage performances by creative and talented musicians from both the local and regional circuits. Performances scheduled for John Long (Blues), Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones (Blues), Sean Chambers (Blues, Rock), Memphis Rub Band (Blues, Rock), Joey Gilmore Band (Electric Blues, Soul), Memphis Lightning (Rock, Roots), Frank Bang (Blues), Lee Boys (Funk, Gospel), Bridget Kelly Band (Blues), JP Soars & The Red Hots (Blues, Roots), Mike Hund and His Allstar Band (Blues, Rock).

Remember there will be some shopping available at the curated marketplace between shows. There is a great selection of fine arts, crafts, and even food products to select from. This rounds out a weekend of fun, shopping, and music here on the beautiful Suncoast.
