Diana Rein and Steve Arvey Bring the Blues to Fogartyville in Sarasota, FL 

With sultry and powerful vocals reminiscent of Emmylou Harris and Bonnie Raitt, songs that evoke an emotional response and a guitar style that has been compared to the likes of BB King with the tone of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Diana Rein is becoming the quintessential blues musician.

Steve Arvey began his career playing the Chicago blues circuit during the 70’s. During that period he shared the stage with many of the legendary blues masters from the Windy City. Now living in Florida, Steve is a fixture at major festivals and nightclubs throughout the South, Europe and the Caribbean. He is also considered by many to be one of the top cigar box guitar players in the world today.Diana Rein and Steve Arvey will perform at Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center on Thursday, March 19th at 7pm. Born in Romania, Diana moved to Chicago with her parents at the age of three. It is there that Diana heard the Blues for the first time at the age of 8 when she was brought up onstage at The Back Room on Rush St. in Chicago. Diana Rein’s songs evoke an emotional response with a guitar style compared to the likes of BB King with the tone of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Diana has played shows and festivals with her biggest achievement being the 2019 Open Air Blues Festival in Brezoi, Romania for 8,000+ people. She graced the cover of Guitar Girl Magazine for their Blues edition, was the winner of 3 LA Critics Music Awards for Best Blues Artist, Best Female CD (Album: Long Road) and Fan Favorite and is spreading her love of music, the Blues and guitar wherever she goes.
