DeSoto Seafood Festival March 24-26 Featuring ’38 Special’, Billy Rice Band and more

The annual Hernando de Soto Historical Society’s Seafood Festival will take place from March 24-26 at the Sutton and Lamb Park in Palmetto.

The tree day festival featuring fabulous music, seafood vendors, arts and crafts and much more is a huge event.

The Billy Rice bands opens the festival on Friday, May 24.  Saturday, the music starts at 11:30 and goes all day.  Some of the bands performing throughout the weekend are Carrie Welling, Trigger Fish, Gabriel Newell, Rebel Heart, Whiskey Blind, Boss Hawg, Saints of Havana, Gumbo Boogie Band, Porch Dogs, Chubby Carrier, and the Bayou Swamp Band.  

The main event takes place on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30 pm with 38 Special Performing.  This will be a special evening!

More about the festival:  5 p.m. March 24, 11 a.m. March 25 and noon March 26, Sutton & Lamb Park, 10th Avenue West and Sixth Street West, Palmetto.
