The Garden also provides a beautiful opportunity to explore tropical plants, restored Florida habitats and lakeside scenery.

Enjoy Sizzle Dining Before September Ends
September is also Sizzle Dining Month, and this is one of the final weekends to take advantage of the annual Southwest Florida restaurant promotion.
Through Sizzle Dining, participating restaurants throughout Naples and Southwest Florida offer special prix-fixe menus.
There is also a charitable component: participating restaurants donate $1 from every Sizzle Dining meal sold to Blessings in a Backpack SWFL, helping provide food for local elementary-school children experiencing food insecurity.
With September ending next week, Friday or Saturday night could be a good opportunity to try a Naples restaurant you have not visited before.
Saturday, September 26
Hunt for Treasures at the Vineyards Community Yard Sale
Bargain hunters can start Saturday morning at the September Community Yard Sale presented by Collier County Parks & Recreation.
The family-friendly event runs from 8 a.m. until noon at Vineyards Community Park.
Shoppers can browse household items, collectibles and other finds while spending a morning outdoors in the community.
Admission: Free

Spend the Morning at Naples Botanical Garden
Saturday is another opportunity to visit Naples Botanical Garden.
The Garden’s weekend schedule includes several activities, including:
Daily Tour: 9:30–10 a.m.
W.O.N.D.E.R.: 10 a.m.–noon
Visitors can also see “Historias del aire y del suelo | Stories of Air and Soil,” an exhibition exploring ecological and cultural connections between Florida and Puerto Rico.
The exhibition is scheduled to remain on display through October 25.
FC Naples Takes the Field Saturday Night
Sports fans have a big local option Saturday evening when FC Naples returns home.
FC Naples hosts Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at Paradise Coast Sports Complex, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
FC Naples competes in USL League One and has quickly become another entertainment option for families and soccer fans throughout Southwest Florida.
Kickoff: 7 p.m.
Location: Paradise Coast Sports Complex, Naples
Fans can find ticket information and the complete schedule directly through FC Naples.
Saturday Night Dining in Naples
After the soccer match — or instead of it — Saturday evening is also a great opportunity to explore Naples’ restaurant scene.
Sizzle Dining continues throughout the weekend with participating Naples restaurants offering special multi-course menus.
Because September is nearly over, this is one of the final weekends of the 2026 promotion.

Sunday, September 27
A Relaxing Sunday at Naples Botanical Garden
Sunday morning provides another chance to slow things down at Naples Botanical Garden.
The Garden offers a staff-led Daily Tour at 9:30 a.m., lasting approximately 30 minutes. The tour is included with Garden admission, with space available on a limited basis.
The family-friendly W.O.N.D.E.R. program also runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
Visitors can spend the rest of the morning wandering through the Garden’s themed landscapes, natural areas and waterfront settings.
Explore Downtown Naples
Sunday can also be a good day to simply explore downtown Naples without a rigid schedule.
Walk Fifth Avenue South, visit local boutiques and galleries, enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors, or head toward the waterfront as the afternoon cools down.
For additional information about upcoming events, attractions and things to do throughout the area, visit Visit Naples.
One More Chance for Sizzle Dining
Sunday is also part of the final weekend of Sizzle Dining before the month-long promotion concludes September 30.
Participating restaurants range from casual local favorites to upscale dining destinations, providing plenty of choices for a Sunday lunch or dinner.
Make a Weekend of It in Naples
This weekend is a good example of why Naples has so much more to offer than beautiful beaches.
You can hear the Naples Philharmonic on Friday night, hunt for bargains Saturday morning, explore Naples Botanical Garden, watch professional soccer Saturday evening and finish the weekend with dining, shopping and a relaxed Sunday downtown.
With September winding down and Southwest Florida’s busy winter season approaching, this is also a particularly good time for local residents to get out and rediscover Naples.
As always, event times, admission details and schedules can change. Check directly with the venue or organization before making a special trip.
