Summertime at North Port Aquatic Center
There is nothing that feels better on a sizzling summer day than jumping into a cool body of water. That instant gratification of your body doing a free fall plunge into the buoyancy of chilly water is fantastic. As a kid I prided myself on being one of the first in my neighborhood to jump into our frigid Michigan bay somewhere late April or early May. Today, living in Florida, I wouldn’t recommend jumping into any open waterways. Thankfully, our area has North Port Aquatic Center – North Port, FL to splash the day away, swim some laps, or sun bathe. Add cardio and swim classes, special movie nights and even poolside snacks and this summer is heating up in all the coolest ways.
