Realize Bradenton Is Recognized For Creative Work On The Suncoast
Realize Bradenton was awarded two ADDY Awards by the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation for the Bradenton Blues Festival on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the American Advertising Awards recognize the creative spirit and excellence in the art of advertising. “We are extremely grateful to be recognized by the American Advertising Federation for our efforts,” said Ann Breitinger, Chair of the Realize Bradenton Board of Directors. “These two ADDY awards highlight the value placed on high quality creative work to bring people together in downtown Bradenton.”
AdFed Suncoast, the local chapter of AAF, awarded Realize Bradenton with a Gold ADDY for Illustration of the 2019 Bradenton Blues Festival poster; and a Silver ADDY for the Cross Platform Integrated Media Pro Bono Campaign for the 2019 Bradenton Blues Festival.
The advertising campaign for the 2019 Bradenton Blues Festival encompassed print and digital marketing efforts, including branded collateral. The campaign incorporated the original artwork titled ‘Rise above the Tide’ by artist Grego Anderson, and the design work of Paula Murray of Artefact Design, Inc. The campaign culminated with the earliest sellout in event history, by early November, 2019. The festival was attended by visitors from 10 foreign countries, 35 states, and 22 zip codes in Florida outside of Bradenton.
“As a creative, place branding nonprofit, we understand the power of words and images, so it is rewarding to have our efforts acknowledged out of the many incredible entries. I am fortunate to work with staff and talented artists who leverage their creativity for the benefit of Bradenton,” comments Johnette Isham, Executive Director.
Attracting more than 35,000 professional and student entries each year through competitions offered through local AAF clubs, the ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising. Conducted by the AAF, the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition to recognize the very best in their markets.
