Party-N-Style in Land O’ Lakes: The Ultimate Princess Party Experience for Kids & Families
There is a magical place for kids in Land O’ Lakes called Party-N-Style, and it feels like a little world where imagination gets to run the show.
Part hair salon, part spa, and part full-on dream day for kids, Party-N-Style gives families something more than a standard outing. We took my granddaughter and her friends for an afternoon of fun on Tinkerbell Day, and it turned into one of those experiences the kids talk about long after the glitter is gone.
Every month on Sunday, Party-N-Style hosts a different princess-themed event. Families can browse upcoming princess events here. The business is family-owned, and everyone who works there is a licensed cosmetologist. They offer ear piercing, hairstyling for girls, boys, and adults, and a wide range of themed parties for all ages. Everything is by appointment only.
A Tinkerbell Day to Remember
We were booked for the Tinkerbell Fairy event, and the fun started the minute the kids stepped inside. First came the big decision, choosing from a ginormous closet of costumes. After that, the girls picked their nail colors for manicures, selected hair designs from a set of photo options, and finished the makeover with makeup and face glitter.
There’s even a runway where the children can walk, pose, and soak up the spotlight. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring cameras and use their phones freely, which makes sense because the place is packed with photo moments from start to finish.
Our group was small and intimate, just ten kids, which made the whole event feel warm and personal. Then Tinkerbell made her entrance, and the room lit up. She was every bit as convincing and delightful as a character you might see at Disney World. The performers come from Dreams Come True Entertainment, a Lakeland company that clearly knows how to create a memorable experience for children.
More Than a Salon, More Than a Party
Tinkerbell sat with the children, read them a story, and then danced with them. Each child received Pixie Dust to make a wish and sprinkle, and Tink took several group photos along with individual photos for every child.
It was more than two hours of real fun, and the girls loved every minute of it. Between the themed activities and the playful setting, the experience felt polished without losing its heart. There are several built-in photo spots too, including a life-size Barbie doll box and a giant princess chair.
There is also a new room called The Venue, a beautiful event space that is celebrating its grand opening on April 17 at 6 p.m. The room is available for a variety of events, from children’s birthday parties to adult celebrations. Owner Stephanie Diaz is hands-on with the business, and that personal attention shows throughout the experience.
