DFS Continues to Grow in North America
Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) are on the rise in North America across all the leading sports on the continent. With improved technology and more data than ever before available to bettors, these daily games have become more appealing to many, compared to the traditional form of sports betting.
One of the companies that has been a part of this growth is Dabble Fantasy. They launched in the US in October 2023, and they now have over one million registered customers who play their DFS games.
Dabble’s Roots Started in Australia
Although Dabble does not offer DFS in Australia, the company’s roots very much began in the country. It originated there in 2020 as a licensed sportsbook, offering betting on all major sports on their app and website.

The move to the United States proved to be a smart one for Dabble, as they have flourished with their DFS offering. They are available in over 20 states, offering DFS games on college basketball, college football, MLB, NBL, NBA, and NFL. The latter proved popular for the Super Bowl where the Philadelphia Eagles were crowned the champions after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, as per the CNN report.
With plans to expand, Dabble will be looking to join other states in the US that offer legal betting. They may also consider offering their DFS product in Australia to go alongside their sportsbook, should interest in such games grow in the future.
Dabble Fantasy Has Unique Features
One of the reasons Dabble Fantasy has been able to pick up a strong market share is the unique features on its site. One of these is the social aspect of the experience. Customers can follow their friends, choose to match other players’ selections, and discuss the result as a community.
New users with Dabble Fantasy can also take advantage of their sign-up offer. They can get $25 in bonus funds to get them started. It means they can have a go at playing some games without using their own bankroll. The bonus funds can be used on events such as the NBA Playoffs, PGA golf tournaments, and much more.
There have been rumors that Dabble Fantasy is considering an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on NASDAQ to raise funds for investment in the company. Should this launch, expect to see them explore as many international markets as they feel is viable.
What’s Next for DFS Games?
The leading sites in North America are looking at what else they can offer their customers. There is likely to be an increase in free-to-play games, something which has proved popular with sportsbook sites across the world.
With technology continuing to improve, companies like Dabble Fantasy are working on improving the user experience. They are exploring what other features they can add to their app and site to ensure it is a one-stop shop for their customers.
Another step many companies are looking to take is to move away from the traditional sports they offer. We could see some offer politics, esports, and reality TV games in the future, which may increase their number of registered users.
The future of the DFS games is very bright, and if expansion plans to Australia come off, it may end up being a big hit here just like in North America.
