Freedom is the theme!

Volta is a new Cirque du Soleil show Costumes are designed by the famous Zaldy Goco! Zaldy worked with Michael Jackson on the “This Is It” tour as well as with Lady Gaga, Britany Spears and Gwen Stefani. He designed the costumes for the Cirque Michael Jackson “One” show that is currently running in Vegas and has received two Emmy nominations. Costumes are as an important part of a Cirque show as the acrobatics!

There is a live band of musicians and a pair of incredible singers, Darius Harper and Camilla Bäckman who bring the songs to life! Music for Volta is written by vocalist/record producer Anthony Gonzalez of M83. Singer Darius Harper has been in the national touring productions of “Book of Mormon” and “Kinky Boots” working with the eclectically talented Cyndi Lauper. Camilla is from Helsinki, Finland and also plays a beautiful violin in the show. Striking costumes and big production numbers give them an incredible presence in Volta.
