Women Who ROCK the Suncoast to Perform One-Night-Only Benefit Concert at 88 Live in Bradenton
Sarasota-based bandleader and community advocate Kurt Kiehnle, frontman of the high-energy group Jack’D Up!, has launched a one-of-a-kind musical event that’s equal parts celebration and philanthropy. On October 14, 2025, the stage at 88 Live in Bradenton will come alive with the voices of 20 powerhouse female vocalists in a historic reunion concert: “Women Who ROCK the Suncoast!”
Born from Kurt’s vision to spotlight the exceptional talent on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the project began with a group photo of these local vocal legends. Now, they return to share the stage in a first-of-its-kind live performance, with 100% of the proceeds going to The Beautiful Gate Inc., a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing life-saving mammograms to women without financial resources or access to care.
“Every dollar from ticket sales, tips, and donations will directly benefit The Beautiful Gate,” Kiehnle shared. “Any support you can offer would mean a great deal—not only to me, but to the women this effort will help.”
