After a year hiatus, the Taste of Manatee is returning for its 30th year and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The Rotary Club of West Bradenton in partnership with Sysco has just announced the return of this popular Manatee County event. While many details are yet to be announced – the date is set so mark your calendars and make your plans for Saturday, November 4th.
Free admission and fun for the whole family, this is one of Manatee County’s largest public events. Known for its large display of delicious eats, creative artisans and vendors, and excellent live music it’s sure to be a day that can’t be missed.
From 11am until 8pm the Bradenton Riverwalk will abound with many of the area’s favorite local vendors selling bites of their original dishes, offering a diverse and true Taste of Manatee. Throughout the day, the main-stage will be rocking with local musicians including Kim Betts and the Gamble Creek Band, The Big Daddy Band, The Bearded Brothers, and reggae from Jah Movement.
In years past the Taste of Manatee has been a pillar in the community – successfully bringing together thousands of members of the community to enjoy in the tastes, sights, and sounds.
This year is sure to follow suit, and for a good cause, at the helm of the Rotary Club of West Bradenton’s efforts to help raise money for many local charities.
According to the event’s Facebook page, this year’s beneficiaries include Meals on Wheels, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Rotary’s all-inclusive playground project. Causes we can all gladly toast to at this exciting event.
