Venetian “Capricci” Opening in Sarasota Friday, October 5 At AlexArt International
Sarasota is art. It is a contemplation of emerging artists and sharing human creativity. In the next few days, Sarasota will also offer the opportunity to itsart-lovers to admire works of great prestige and mastery, masterpieces of another century, which are handed down from generation to generation. On October 5, when galleries are open until late at night for the Art Walk on the First Friday of the month, AlexArt International Art Gallery will propose to the city a rich and unique agenda with the exhibition “Old Masters”. It will lead guests, collectors, art teachers, and students along a path never explored, and reveal a connection between some of the most representative masters in Italian and Flemish art.
In the atelier at 25 N Pineapple Ave, on the same sidewalk of the Opera House, the owner of AlexArt International, Mrs. Alexa Scanziani, will present five superb paintings: the “Praying Virgin”, a rare oval by Francesco Guardi, the “Capriccio with Tower and Village” by Michele Marieschi, the bucolic landscape by Francesco Zuccarelli, the huge trees by Jan Wilden, and a religious painting by an anonymous author.
AlexArt International Art Gallery of Sarasota has been selected as the exclusive representative of this magnificent private collection for the sole concession of one of the heirs of the business magnate and art collector Antonio Giuliani.
The authenticity of these masterpieces is supported by literature and letters of expertise by major experts.
The preopening is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 10:00 at AlexArt International Art Gallery, 25 N Pineapple Ave. Sarasota, FL
Music and Wine & Cheese will be provided. Free admission.
