Synchronicity Festivals Presents the 2nd Annual Southern Rock & BBQ Music Festival in Wimauma, FL
Synchronicity Festivals presents the 2nd Annual “Southern Rock & BBQ Music Festival”, Friday, February 21, 2020 and Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Masonic Park and Youth Camp.
There will be two outstanding headliners for this festival; one on Friday and another on Saturday. Friday we will host the gold and platinum recording artists, The Atlanta Rhythm Section and Saturday, Skinny Molly, a musical compilation of legendary Southern Rock musicians (from Skynyrd, Blackfoot and Molly Hatchet) based out of Nashville, will wrap up the 2 days of Southern Rock music. Supporting artists for the 2 days include Preacher Stone, Curt Towne Band, Cowboy Poets, Whiskey Foxtrot and several local bands; Randy McNeeley, the Tucci Project, The Verge and Dovydas.
In addition to the diverse music lineup, concert goers are welcome to spend the weekend camping at The Masonic Park and Youth Camp. The 200+ acre natural park offers several amenities including camping, fishing, hiking, and canoeing. There is a $25 camping flat fee whether you like to tent or RV camp, which includes both Friday and Saturday nights. A camping pass can be purchased on our Eventbrite link provided below. Bring your own camping gear or rent a camper from Suncoast RV Rental. Please note that there are no RV hookups available during the festival, so it is recommended that you have a quiet generator.
Come enjoy live music, food vendors and happy reunions with friends from last year. A portion of net proceeds will be donated to the Masonic Park and Youth Camp to help improve the Park, expand amenities and enhance the camping experience for our next generation of scouts and youth groups. We will also be donating to Tampa’s Shriners Children’s Hospital and My Warrior’s Place, an organization whose purpose is to provide a safe refuge and bring about healing and hope to our Veteran and Military members, as well as First Responders and Law Enforcement, with the help of a poker run organized by The Free Runners, a motorcycle organization made up of Freemasons. Information to participate in the poker run can be found on our website. All are welcome and invited.
“We are very excited to be hosting this event for our second year and we are very grateful to our local sponsors such as Stottlemyer’s Smokehouse for our VIP food, Sam Ash Music Store for our backline, iHeart Radio for ticket giveaways, Mojoe Productions and, of course, Pepin Distributing bringing us Budweiser products,” states promoter Greg Gerdes. He goes on to say, “The event area is beautiful! We’ve done some site work during 2019 and the festival grounds are grassed, and we’ve developed some of the area with crushed asphalt so more vendors can be in the event area. We will have some pretty exciting auctions as well, including a fiddle played by Charlie Daniels.”
Tickets can be purchased online here or at Eventbrite. General Admission tickets are $45 for 2-days ($25 for Friday only and $30 for Saturday only), VIP tickets are $250 for 2-days ($125 for each day) which is limited to 100 people, and children under 12 are free. Live music is from 5pm-11pm on Friday and 2pm-11pm on Saturday. Parking is free and there is a small $25 flat fee for weekend camping.
