Swordfish Grill & Tiki 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest- Are You Ready?

It’s almost time for the Annual 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest at Swordfish Grill and Tiki Bar in Cortez, Florida. For the fifth year in a row, the competition takes place on the outdoor patio this Wednesday at 1 PM.

Participants will have 10 minutes to eat as many hotdogs as they can to win over $250 in cash, prizes and awesome Swordfish swag. The champion will also have his or her name engraved on the coveted Hahana Ilio cup (that’s Hawaiian for “hotdog”).

MC and Swordfish General Manager Bob Slicker calls it, “the most fun you can have on the Fourth of July!” There will be raffles and a few surprises. Bring the kids, grandkids….. the more the merrier! Have some lunch, a drink and enjoy the beautiful waterfront views at the Swordfish.
