Steve Arvey and Bill Buchman Release New CD “Art of Blues”

Music veterans Bill Buchman and Steve Arvey invite you to the release of their new CD  “Art of Blues” on Sunday, April 12th  at the Fogartyville Community Media and  Arts Center.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the show.  Ticket price includes a copy of the CD.  Advance tickets are available at www.wslr.org.

It’s been over a year since Steve Arvey and Bill Buchman met in Venice, Florida and created a great chemistry of music. Bill Buchman is a long time member of the Jazz community recording and performing with many great artists. Studying at an early age at the New England Conservatory where he received a masters degree in music,  Bill’s musical roots add such a dimension to this project. At 57 years old Steve Arvey has had a long history in the blues also recording and performing with many Blues Masters. Steve has over 16 CD’s and 2 Albums.

Both Bill and Steve composed many new songs for this CD along with re-arranging many classic blues songs. They are accompanied on this recording by some stellar talent including Tony Smith on Harmonica, Michael Dempsey on Bass, and Rick Andre on Drums.
