Sertoma Youth Ranch is where Spirit of Woodstock will be in Brooksville, FLAs many people know, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic music festival, Woodstock, held on a dairy farm in the Catskill Mountains, northwest of New York City, on August 15–18, 1969, which attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Billed as “An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music”, it was held at Max Yasgur’s 600-acre dairy farm near White Lake in Bethel, New York,43 miles southwest of Woodstock. Woodstock 50, in New York, has been announced but amid much controversy with their financial backing pulled, their production company backing out and now losing their venue, it is not known what will happen. But, rest assured, Spirit of Woodstock is happening at one of the prettiest campgrounds in Florida!

This summer, we will celebrate the music festival that changed a generation.
