Spectacular Sky Celebration: Nathan Benderson Park Independence Day Extravaganza
Prepare for an explosive evening of family-friendly festivities at the annual Spectacular Sky Celebration: NBP Independence Day Extravaganza, set to dazzle Nathan Benderson Park on July 3.
For the second consecutive year, Lamborghini Sarasota leads the charge as the presenting sponsor, promising a night of patriotic revelry. The event will feature live performances by Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio, the engaging Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium Kid Zone, delectable culinary offerings, local vendors, and a breathtaking 15-minute fireworks display illuminating the skies over Nathan Benderson Park Lake around 9:00 p.m.
Can’t make it to the park? Tune in to WWSB ABC 7 on Thursday, July 4, for a televised Independence Day special starting at 9 p.m.

From 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., guests can groove to the tunes of regional sensation Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio on the main stage at Regatta Island. Renowned for their electrifying performances, this band is a staple of Southwest Florida’s music scene.
Throughout the evening, families can explore the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium Kid Zone, offering inflatable attractions, face painting, crafts, and more. Capture cherished moments at various photo wall art stations sponsored by Oh What Fun! Party Co. Additional support comes from WWSB ABC7, Oak & Stone, Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, Observer Media Group, Visit Sarasota, Bradenton Anna Maria Island and Long Boat Key Visitor’s Bureau, Detwiler’s, Hamilton’s Concessions, and iHeart Radio.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with the fireworks extravaganza commencing just after 9 p.m. Admission is free, with paid parking available. Parking tickets are priced at $35 per car on Regatta Island, $25 per car in the south lot, and $55 for recreational vehicles. Limited VIP tickets are available for an exclusive viewing experience at the Finish Tower for $100 per person, offering premium amenities and prime viewing spots.
