SeaMonkey Apparel Expands “Fill the Van” Campaign to Double Donations for Manatee County Animal Rescue Efforts

| Suncoast Post Staff |

SeaMonkey Apparel is once again giving back to the animals of Manatee County with the return of its “Fill the Van” campaign—this year bigger and better than ever. The local coastal lifestyle brand is on a mission to collect 2,000 pounds of food and supplies to benefit Manatee County Animal Welfare and the Humane Society of Manatee County, doubling last year’s total of more than 900 pounds.

To help reach this ambitious goal, SeaMonkey Apparel has teamed up with an impressive lineup of local businesses that are serving as official Food and Supply Donation Stations. Community members can drop off pet food, toys, and other supplies at the following locations:

  • Flamingo Bay Brewing Company
  • Sun Lab Brewing Company
  • The Boiler Room
  • Edibles N More Old Time Country Store
  • Lo’ Key Island Grill
  • Slickers Eatery
  • The Market Boutique & Gifts
  • Mean Deans Local Kitchen

Adding to the impact, SeaMonkey Apparel has launched exclusive October designs, donating 15% of proceeds from these collections directly to the Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare and the Humane Society of Manatee County. Additionally, 5% of all other sales this month will also support these organizations.

This year’s campaign is powered by generous sponsors including She Sells Seashells of Anna Maria Island, AMI Guy, and Keep Manatee Beautiful. SeaMonkey Apparel has also partnered with DOGPerfect, which is donating a significant amount of pet food, and a GoFundMe has been set up for monetary contributions from individuals and businesses.

“The SeaMonkey Apparel brand has evolved into a platform for us to support our community,” said Alexandra Lowe-Mains, Co-Owner of SeaMonkey Apparel. “This campaign is about more than clothing—it’s about rallying our neighbors, small businesses, and customers to make a meaningful difference together.”
