School of Russian Ballet :: The Nutcracker
Under the artistic direction of Sergiy Mykhaylov and Darya Fedotova, the School of Russian Ballet will present one performance of The Nutcracker at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Sarasota Opera House in Sarasota, Florida.
Choreography by Vadim Fedotov. The School of Russian Ballet dancers will be joined on stage by international guest artists: Sergiy Mykhaylov (Ukraine), former Principal Dancer of the Sarasota Ballet of Florida and Director of the School of Russian Ballet, as Herr Drosselmeyer; Telmo Moreira (Portugal), Dancer of the Orlando Ballet, as the Rat King; Luis Eduardo Gonzalez (Colombia), Dancer of the Orlando Ballet, as the Cavalier; and Andrea Maciel de Faria (Brazil), former Dancer of the Orlando Ballet, as the Sugar Plum Fairy.
