Sarasota’s Music Compound Strikes a Chord with 2024 ‘Rock Your Summer Reading’ Initiative

As summer approaches, Music Compound in Sarasota is tuning up for another exciting literary journey with its annual ‘Rock Your Summer Reading’ program, set to kick off on June 1st.

Building on its commitment to year-round education, Music Compound doesn’t hit pause when school’s out; instead, it orchestrates an immersive reading experience for youths of all ages. In conjunction with its popular in-person summer camp, the Rock Your Summer Reading initiative aims to ignite a passion for books while offering a symphony of rewards and incentives.

Partnering with local businesses, Music Compound orchestrates a crescendo of prizes, from tantalizing treats and exclusive experiences to coveted items. Participants can unlock these treasures by simply indulging in the magic of reading. For every five books devoured, a door swings open to a world of prizes, including meals, books, attractions passes, and even private music lessons at Music Compound itself.

The crescendo builds through the summer, with prizes growing in value as participants delve deeper into their literary adventures. And for those young virtuosos who reach a crescendo of 50 books or more, a grand finale awaits. The grand prize drawing promises a celebration fit for rockstars, with a party for up to 20 guests at Music Compound’s “Studio 32,” complete with bounce houses and a SRQ PhotoBooth, courtesy of Let’s Jump Rentals.
