Sarasota Rocktoberfest is Sure to Rock the Suncoast this Coming Weekend!
Fall means festivals, mouthwatering food, and Oktoberfest celebrations in various parts of the country. If you are looking for an amazing lineup Oktoberfest festivities here on the Suncoast – Sarasota Rocktoberfest is the answer. This is a pet-friendly event featuring arts, crafts, fine products, and services in a great marketplace you can shop between musical events. After a couple of tough weeks here on the Suncoast, be sure that this event is on your calendar to rest, relax and have some fun with family and friends this coming weekend.
Rocktoberfest attendees will find a wide variety of food plus a German feast fit for King Ludwig himself! Dine on German foods like Schweinshaxe (roasted ham hock), Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick), Wurstl (Sausages), Brezen (pretzels, Knodel (potato or flour dumplings), Kasespatzel (cheese noodles), sweet mustards, sauerkraut, red cabbage and more! Additionally, there is a good selection of beers to make this a proper Oktoberfest, including local craft and other beers to complement the food.
While you taste a host of amazing foods, take in the live music that is sure to entertain. This all takes place in a beautiful location at JD Hamel park at the bayfront in Sarasota. The lineup for this year’s musical acts is amazing and includes:

This event is FREE to get into and will be a good time for pets, children, and family. Hours will be: Friday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. With the cooler weather, this outdoor event is sure to be a favorite of this fall season.
