ROARING 20’S PARTY
The Bradenton Woman’s Club and the Temple Beth-El Bradenton are jointly hosting a Roaring 20’s Dance Party event as a fund-raising project. This event will raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. It will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 8:00 PM at the Bradenton Woman’s Club, 1705 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida. To heighten the mood of the evening the club is encouraging attendees to wear costumes of the period. Regardless of attire, this event is sure to be an evening of enjoyment and amusement for all. The entertainment will include live music from 8:00-11:00 PM, featuring Pam Jeffries and a jazz band. Also, casino-style games of chance will be available along with a live auction and silent auction, and raffles for prizes throughout the evening. A cash bar will be open, and hors d’oeuvres will be offered. The Bradenton Woman’s Club is a non-profit volunteer organization established for the betterment of the educational, moral and civic condition of the community since 1913. In recent years, the charitable club has contributed to numerous worthy service projects. In addition to Wounded Warrior, other civic and service projects include HOPE Family Services, Manatee Operation Troop Support, Adopt a Family, Habitat for Humanity, Adopt a Highway, Meals on Wheels, the Cancer Society, League of Women Voters, Manatee School of the Arts, Bradenton Library, Council on Aging, Manatee County School System, and several assisted living organizations.
