Ring in the New Year at the Downtown Sarasota Block Party and Pineapple Drop Celebration

Ring in 2022 at the Downtown Sarasota Block Party and Pineapple Drop at Five Points Park, 100 Central Avenue, starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 31, through 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 1.  Admission to this family-friendly event is FREE.

The festivities will include amusement rides and games; live music; food, drinks and full bar concessions; and a Pineapple Drop at midnight followed by a fantastic fireworks display on Sarasota Bay.  Enjoy a great view…without leaving the party!

The event kicks off on December 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. Enjoy amusement rides and games at Five Points Park, live music on stages located on Main and Lemon and throughout the Downtown Core. Food and drink concessions will be throughout the site. And all capped off with a fantastic fireworks display over Sarasota Bay!

Live music performances throughout the night will be by Big Night Out (dance, rock, alternative), the Dr. Dave Band (classic rock, bluegrass) and Randy McNeeley (country). Music performances will be from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am on stages located on Main and Lemon and throughout the Downtown Core.
