The Sarasota Film Festival has named a new team for programming for the 17th annual 10 day event coming in April.

Michael Dunaway will become Director of Programming. For more than 20 years, Michael has been a director and producer and is also the editor of the film section of the online magazine, Paste.

Tom Hall, who resigned the position at the Film Festival several months ago to become the director of the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey, recommended Michael for the position.

The Sarasota Film Festival is one of the most important events in the area drawing visitors from all over the world. This year the festival runs from April 10-19.
