Manatee Children’s Services Announces Gala Celebrating 40 Years of Service

Manatee Children’s Services announced today that they will celebrate its 40th anniversary at the 2017 Neptune’s Seaside Bash Gala on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  The annual gala will be held in The Seafood Shack Marina, Bar & Grill’s The Neptune Room.

The agency is delighted to welcome Trio Fusion to the event this year.  The band will be playing a 3 hour set of Latin and American genres.  Event tickets include an oyster bar, wine tasting station, full bar and a three-course dinner planned especially for this occasion prepared by Chef Gerard Jesse.  Live and Silent Auction items secured to date include trips, jewelry and art work created by children living in the Emergency Shelter.  TapSnap will be providing guests with fun and interactive touchscreen photo kiosks.

More information is expected to be released following a Board of Director’s Meeting in August 2017.

Since 1977, Manatee Children’s Services, a non-profit Child Advocacy Center (CAC), has been serving our community’s children victimized by abuse and/or neglect.  The agency provides a variety of services including our area’s only Emergency Shelter and Group Homes, Parenting Classes, Grandparent and Relative Caregiver Advocacy Services and Support, abuse prevention workshops and presentations, forensic medical and interview services and mental health counseling.
