Ladies Sing The Blues, September 17th

Just announced!  Save the date- Thursday, September 17th at 6pm.  Steve Arvey, Sande Caplin & Associates and the Sarasota Post present “Ladies Sing The Blues”.

Every year some of the best lady blues singers in our area get together to perform for charity.  This year, we are coming back to the Swordfish Grill on Cortez.  Last years event was a complete sellout and an awesome success!  General Manager, Bob Slicker says that “this year’s event will be even bigger and more successful than last”.

The beneficiary this year is “HOPE Family Services”.  This organization is Manatee County’s only State certified domestic violence service provider.  HOPE provides a wide range of free and confidential services including:  Individualized safety planning, Emergency safe shelter, 24 hour crisis helpline, Comprehensive advocacy, Assistance with Victim Compensation, Individual and Group counseling, Parenting classes, Community education, Professional training, Prevention program for teens and a Farm worker Outreach program.   

The line up of ladies is going to be awesome and will be announced soon.  This years Special Guest and MC is one of the most popular entertainers in our area.   Musical Director Steve Arvey will be assisted by Producer Laura Adams with the program.
