It’s Time For The 3rd annual Stone Crab Festival

Get ready for our annual Stone Crab Festival right on the bay in the historic Cortez fishing village. There will be tons of food and drinks, live music, and boat loads of fresh Stone Crab. All vendors on site are local artisans from the surrounding area. Kids will have a great time with games and pony rides while adults can enjoy delicious seafood with a grown-up beverage. With the event this year, we are supporting the charity Fishing for Freedom. They are a growing organization of citizens dedicated to preserving our constitutions, the environment, economy and citizen’s rights through responsible scientific, ecological and biological management.

Live music will be on three stages both days between The Cortez Kitchen and Swordfish Grill. The entertainment on Saturday will feature Razing Cane followed by Brandi and The Ride, The Bobby G Band, Karen and The Big Bad Wolves, and Eric Von. Sunday will feature Twinkle followed by Ted Stevens and The Doo Shots, Reid Frost, and Doug Deming.

Enjoy Fresh Stone Crab, peel and eat shrimp, Tyler’s ice cream, roasted corn on the cob, shrimp and grits, and many other local favorite dishes. Festivities begin at noon both days.
