Great Music & Food at the 5th Annual Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival

The Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival returns January 17-19, 2020 to JD Hamel Park in downtown Sarasota. Bring family and friends to enjoy fresh seafood and outstanding live musical performances.

The event begins Friday night January 17 with festivities running 4pm -10pm. The event continues Saturday from 11am – 10pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm. General admission is FREE! Produced by Paragon Festivals, hosted by the Sarasota Downtown Enrichment Association with the Humane Society of Sarasota County a Special Guest.

Come feast on a diverse menu of foods cooked fresh on site using renewable and sustainable ocean resources from Florida Gulf Coast waters. Seafood, meat and vegetarian offerings are all on the menu, along with a variety of side dishes and of course – tantalizing desserts! Alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks are available. During breaks between performances, explore shopping in a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.

With food and drink in-hand, sit and relax to some of Florida’s top musical talents in a diversity of musical genres. Performers on Friday night are: RJ Howson (R&B, blues, rock), JP Soars & The Red Hots (soul, blues) and the Black Honkeys (rock, soul). Enjoy performances on Saturday by: The Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, variety), The Verge (classic rock 70’s to present), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul), Billy Rice Band (country rock) and Mac Arnold & Plate Full O’ Blues (blues, soul, funk). Finish the weekend with performances by: Big Night Out (dance, rock, alternative), Kettle of Fish (rock, blues, reggae) and Fleetwood Max (Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band). During the event, the Humane Society will have their “Big Mac” mobile adoption center onsite. Call (727-542-3000) to confirm onsite hours. Then take a few moments to stop by and say “hi” to the dedicated staff and meet their extended family of friends awaiting adoption, perhaps finding a new Life companion while lending support to a wonderful and compassionate organization.
