“Giving Back” Charity Event in Cortez, Florida – Tickets Now on Sale at the Swordfish Grill & Tiki

| Suncoast Post Staff |

We are happy to announce that one of the most important charity events in our area is back on!  Postponed last September because of Covid19, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever.  “Giving Back” at the Swordfish Grill and Tiki in Cortez, Florida needs your support!  The event is held every year at the Swordfish!

Every year a different organization is chosen to be the recipient of the event. This year, there are 2 benefactors for the event, “Hunger’s End” and “The Blessing Bags Project.”  Both of these great organizations were chosen in early 2020 before the event was postponed.  Congratulations to Betsy Plante, President of the Blessing Bags Project and Carl Snyder, President of Hunger’s End; and Vicky Snyder, Treasurer & Secretary.

The event is presented by The Swordfish Grill & Tiki, The Suncoast Post, and Sande Caplin and Associates. For the 4th year in a row, Visit A Paradise Realty is the event’s music sponsor.   There will be great music for the event with Rick Fass performing, The Wheedles, and everyone’s favorite, TC & The Rockin Relics.  Tim Chandler is the musical director for the event.  Great food, a live and silent auction, and so much fun.  All proceeds go to the charities.

Ticket sales are limited, and every year the tickets sell out fast.  For tickets, contact Katrina Cox at the Swordfish Grill 941 798-2035.
