Lauren Mitchell Band to Headline Inaugural “Faith Fest”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [ Sarasota, FL September 1, 2013 ] An inaugural music festival combining the best of secular and spiritual music performed by local musicians is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2013 at The Flying Dog Café on Tallevast Road.

The Lauren Mitchell Band will headline the extravaganza which will also feature sets by Carolyn Davis & Friends, Faith Worship Team lead by Arla Reed (former lead singer for “The Sound”) and others. This will be the only time that the 3 ladies will perform on stage together this year. Performances begin at 5 pm; doors open at 4 pm. Cover donation of $10. pp will benefit Raising Faith, an outreach campaign underway at Faith Presbyerian Church.
