Come Be Irish at the Premiere of the Sarasota St. Paddy’s Festival
As they say in Ireland “all living things must be fed” so – come join us in JD Hamel Park in downtown Sarasota on March 13-15, 2020 for the beginning of a new and exciting event tradition: the Sarasota St. Paddy’s Festival.
The event has an Irish theme, intertwining great Irish staples, seafood, live music, arts & crafts with an environment of total relaxation – all created for YOU! Friday night festivities begin with hours from 4pm-10pm, continues Saturday from 11am-10pm with the finale Sunday 11am-6pm. General admission is FREE!
Enjoy mouth-watering foods cooked fresh onsite including Irish favorites, seafood, meat and vegetarian entrees. Add from a diverse selection of tantalizing side dishes, scrumptious desserts and choice of thirst-quenching alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, Irish beers, fruit drinks, soda and water options.
While enjoying your meal, sit back and relax to live on-stage performances by creative and talented musicians from both the local and regional circuit. Performers this year will be, beginning on Friday evening: The Billy Rice Band (country rock), The Verge (classic rock 70’s to present) and Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul). Saturday listen to the sounds of the North Jetty Allstars (classic & yacht rock, bluegrass, blues), Tahja (Irish dancing, music & singing), JP Soars & The Red Hots (soul, blues) and Kettle of Fish (rock, blues, funk). On Sunday finish the weekend in style relaxing to live performances by: Ocean’s Eleven Big Band (big band, jazz, swing), Dr. Dave Band (classic rock, country, blue grass) and CeCe Teneal & Soul Kamotion (blues, soul, roots).
The Humane Society of Sarasota County will have their “Big Mac” mobile adoption center onsite during the event. Stop by and say “hi” to the dedicated staff and meet their extended family of friends awaiting adoption. Find a new life companion while lending support to a compassionate organization.
The Irish expression “two people shorten the road” means grab a friend and come enjoy great food and music while you journey into experiencing that relaxation you both seek! Remember: YOU are the most important ingredient to this event we have created! May the road rise up to meet you on your journey here and ever elsewhere!
