St. Petersburg, FL …” Bert Smith Chillounge Night”, an upscale outdoor event that transforms a public area into a posh nightclub and lounge for one night only, returns to downtown St. Petersburg for the sixth time on Saturday, November 23, 2013.  Bert Smith will be the Title Sponsor for this exotic transformation.  Chillounge Night’s One-of-a-Kind, Outdoor Luxury Lounge Event To Light Up St. Petersburg’s Straub Park For The Sixth Consecutive Year on November 23, 2013.  Special announcement:  Bert Smith will be again this year’s Title Sponsor.

The ultimate outdoor lounge party will overlook the waterfront from beautiful Straub Park.  Hundreds of chic daybeds and other outdoor furnishings will be set up to create a cozy, comfortable setting for an evening of food, drink and entertainment that will be held from 6 – 11 p.m.  

Admission to the elegant outdoor area, complete with lights, sound system, and a stage that will be filled with musical entertainment, dance performances, fashion models and more, is $30 per person at the door (must be 21 or older).  Advance tickets are on sale for $25 and available at www.chilloungenight.com.   A limited number of VIP tickets, which include complimentary food, beverages, gift bags for the ladies, and cigars are available.  The VIP Lounge is an exclusive roped-off section, and tickets are available for $90.  Parkshore Grill and 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House will provide al fresco dining in the VIP area offering signature items cooked on-site.  They will also offer a wonderful selection of food for sale to the general public throughout the night.

The exciting line-up of entertainment will include the two local bands The Hunks of Funk and The Black Honkeys, a dazzling Runway Fashion Show and sexy Daybed Parade organized and presented by Dona Crowley with Luxe Fashion Group . A beautiful fireworks display, once again presented by Gold & Diamond Source, will highlight the skies and Chillounge Night’s signature Brazilian Samba Parade will get the heartbeat started.

The upscale event is the creation of founder Rainer Scheer, a Sarasota resident and former gallery owner.   Last year’s St. Petersburg Chillounge Night attracted 3,200 attendees.  Since the first Chillounge Night was held in Sarasota in 2008, the popular club-like concept has expanded to additional Florida cities that include Tampa, Orlando, Delray Beach and Fort Myers.  The St. Petersburg event will be the 26th Chillounge Night production.

The St. Petersburg event will benefit again the two local organizations, Creative Clay and The Woodson Museum.
