Celebrate 25 Years of Community Impact: Join LWRCF’s Polo & Pros Event at Sarasota Polo Club
Lakewood Ranch, FL – The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation (LWRCF) is excited to mark its 25th anniversary with an unforgettable celebration at the Sarasota Polo Club, located at 8201 Polo Club Lane in Sarasota. On Sunday, March 23, 2025, from noon to 4 p.m., community members and guests are invited to experience an exclusive “Polo with the Pros” event that blends philanthropy, sport, and community engagement.
The festivities begin with a meet-and-greet and a delicious lunch, setting the stage for a dynamic afternoon. A brief program will kick off the celebration by unveiling LWRCF’s fundraising goals for the anniversary year. The program will honor C. John A. Clarke, the visionary founder of LWRCF, with the Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award—Exemplifying Community. In addition, the event will spotlight the LWRCF Junior Humanitarian of the Year award winner and introduce the PR reporter mascot, who will document and blog about the anniversary year’s exciting happenings.
Guests will also enjoy an in-depth look at the foundation’s inspiring journey—from its inception in 2000 to its current role as a pillar of community support—and get a glimpse into a promising future. Enhancing the event’s unique appeal, professional polo players will provide an “A to Z” explanation of polo. Attendees will have the chance to try their hand at swinging a mallet and learn the basics of the game, with players available post-match for mingling and autographs.
