Beach n’ Food Truck Festival on Anna Maria Island, FL

The wonderful folks from the Anna Maria Chamber of Commerce asked us to share this information of a fun event that is coming up next month. This is a reprint of the announcement that is on their website here!

New Location for 2020! 

In the Heart of Holmes Beach
Saturday, April 11th, 10AM – 8PM

This fun family festival is an all day celebration at Holmes Beach City Field, just north of Holmes Beach City Hall located at 5801 Marina Dr, Holmes Beach.



Local bands will be performing live music to keep you jamming all throughout the day and into the evening. There will be plenty of opportunities for shopping, showcasing vendor booths with unique, one-of-a-kind items from jewelry, local artists’ works, collectible items and much more.

A Kids Zone with all kinds of fun games and more for the young ones to enjoy will be set up.

The festival will also feature an amazing car show:
The Bill Mergens Memorial Car Show, with over 100 classic, antique, custom and muscle cars on display from 10am – 3pm.

And of course, the stars of the show….a variety of Food Trucks serving delectable eats and treats. There is sure to be something for everyone.

Refreshing adult beverages will be available – from wine, margaritas, rum runners and cold beer. Also serving smoothies, soft drinks, fresh squeezed lemonade and water to wet your whistle.

This is a family friendly, community event open to all to enjoy, and no entrance fee!

Getting to the festival / Transportation / Parking Options:

Holmes Beach City Field is located mid-island, just north of HB City Hall at 5801 Marina Dr. Some parking is available at HB City Hall and around the festival area, including at Hancock Whitney Bank at 5324 Gulf Dr, a short walk away. 

A FREE special dedicated festival trolley will continuously loop (10am-9pm) from Crosspointe Fellowship parking lot (8605 Gulf Dr) to the festival grounds to Manatee Public Beach (4000 Gulf Dr) and back around to the festival then to Crosspointe Fellowship.

Or ride the regular FREE island trolley to and from the festival. The regular trolley runs from 6am – 10pm, with over 60 pickup and drop off locations all over the island. The northbound trolley stops at 57th Street at Marina Dr, right by the festival grounds. The southbound trolley stops at 58th Street at Gulf Drive and is just a few short blocks walk east on 58th to Holmes Beach City Field. AMI Trolley Route



Coming from off island? Park at the large parking lot at Beachway Plaza by the north east corner of 75th Street and Manatee Avenue and hop on the FREE Beach ConneXion Shuttle  (runs approx. every 40 minutes from the special bus stop on the north side of Manatee Ave, just east of the Wells Fargo Bank) to Manatee Public Beach, then switch to either the regular island or dedicated festival trolley to the festival grounds. 

Be sure to get the myStop App at the Apple Store or Google Play to track the trolley and shuttle in real time, or access Real Time Trolley/Shuttle Info on the website. 

The Island Monkey Bus is another option to leave the driving to someone else and not have to worry about parking. Contact them at 941-565-6542.

Coming by boat? Day slips are available to rent at Waterline Marina, just a couple blocks away. Contact the Dockmaster’s Office at 941-238-6262

April is a very popular time on the island. Traffic to the island gets heavy during season after 10am, Plan to come early and stay late to skirt the traffic and enjoy the festival! Lawn chairs are welcome, coolers are not!
