Allman Betts Family Revival 2024: A Tribute Tour Featuring Legends and New Faces
The Allman Betts Family Revival is gearing up for its eighth annual tour, continuing its tradition of honoring the musical legacy of Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and the iconic Allman Brothers Band. This year’s tour will take place from November to December, bringing together an impressive lineup of artists to celebrate and extend the rich heritage of Southern rock.
The tour kicks off on November 30 in St. Charles, Illinois, and spans a diverse range of venues including Boston’s Orpheum, New York City’s Beacon Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and concludes on December 21 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Fans can expect two distinct sets at each performance: the first will revisit the original 1970s era of the Allman Brothers, while the second will spotlight Duane Allman’s influential 1990s comeback.
Headlining the 2024 revival are The Allman Betts Band, Luther Dickinson and Cody Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars, Jimmy Hall (known for his work with Jeff Beck and Wet Willie), Lindsay Lou, Lamar Williams Jr., Alex Orbison (son of Roy Orbison), Jackie Greene, Larry McCray, and Anders Osborne. Special guests such as Sierra Hull, Grace Bowers, G. Love, and Jake Shimabukuro will join the tour in select cities.
The visual experience will be enhanced this year by The Brotherhood of Light, a group renowned for its work with the Allman Brothers Band over two decades.
Tickets for the tour are available at Allman Betts Family Revival.
In 2023, the tour achieved notable success with a performance at the Ryman Auditorium, grossing $114,202 and selling 1,798 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
