A Special Film Festival Event At Marie Selby Gardens
The Sarasota Film Festival held their annual Sponsor Kick Off event at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. It was quite an event. The setting was marvelous, the hor dourves were absolutely delicious and the variety of wine and specialty drinks was outstanding. (Thank you “Tito’s Vodka!”) I had the honor of attending the event for the second year in a row. This year my company had the privilege of building a brand new website “from scratch” for the festival.
It was a who’s who of attendees. These folks were not only dressed to the nines, but there was enough energy in this group to start an earthquake! Entertainer, Kara Nally, Barbara Strauss, SFF Director, Tom Hall, Marsha Summers of Cambryn Biologics, SFF Marketing Director, Ashley Armitage, Journalist, Sott Ciencin, Operations Manager, Judi Cox, Beth and Gary Kompothecras from So Staged, Chairman, Mark Famiglio and my mystery lady friend Ms. Susan. (A Sarasota Post Story for another day!) The list goes on and on. There were so many more Sff Volunteers, Journalists, and Corporate folks at the event. It would be difficult to list them all here.
There was lot’s of hob knobbing and great conversation going on. I even got the chance to talk to the boss, Mark Famiglio……right Mark? Kara Nally met some wonderful folks and I’m sure she will be doing some Corporate Gigs real soon. Director Extraordinaire, Tom Hall was as gracious as ever. Tom, the wonderful things that you and Charlie Ann Syprett, Development Director said about my team were humbling. Thank you so much.
The Sarasota Film Festival opens April 4 and runs though April 13. This organization, the folks who support it, and especially the volunteers are some of the greatest people I have ever met and I am so honored that my team can be a part of it.
