6th Annual Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival

It’s time to get back outdoors and enjoy a weekend of pure relaxation full of great food and wonderful live music.  May 21-23, 2021 in JD Hamel Park – the 6th Annual Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival. Fun, food, festivities, and relaxation begin Friday evening 4-10 pm, continuing Saturday 11-10 and Sunday 11-6.  The event is produced by Paragon Festivals, hosted by the Downtown Sarasota Enrichment Association with the Humane Society of Sarasota County the event’s Special Guest.  General admission is FREE!!!

This seafood & music festival is created like a great meal, incorporating and blending the finest ingredients.  Choose entrees (seafood, meat and vegetarian) cooked fresh onsite.  Select from a diversity of side dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and of course – scrumptious desserts! 

Relax to live musical performances by some of Florida’s top musical talents.  Beginning Friday evening enjoy Sarasota Steel Pan Band (jazz, Caribbean), Brenda Watty & Her Peeps (jazz, R&B, Motown) and Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (soul, rock).  Saturday brings great musical sounds by: Mike Tozier (blues, rock, variety), Kettle of Fish (rock, blues, reggae), Fleetwood Max (Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band), North Jetty Allstars (classic rock, Yacht rock, blues) and Damon Fowler (blues).  End the weekend listening to Randy Stephens (classic rock, blues, jazz), Jack’d Up (rock, pop, dance) and Dr. Dave Band (country rock, bluegrass).  Please check the website periodically as performers and performance times are subject to change.

The final ‘seasoning’ is shopping a marketplace of arts and crafts (e.g., painting, jewelry, ceramics, woodworking) along with gourmet food items and specialty products.  Enjoy during the breaks between band performances!

The Humane Society will have their “Big Mac” mobile adoption center onsite Saturday May 22nd. Please take a few moments to stop by and say “hi” to the dedicated staff.  Meet their extended family of ‘friends’ awaiting adoption and perhaps find yourself a new Life companion.
