Sarasota-Manatee Originals Restaurant Week a Chance to “Dine to the Nines” October 1-14
The Sarasota-Manatee Originals are thrilled to announce the return of Eat Like a Local Restaurant Week, October 1-14. Celebrating its third annual restaurant week, guests can “Dine to the Nines” this year at nearly 50 local and independently owned restaurants featuring specially priced breakfast, lunch and dinner prix fixe menu selections. Breakfast and lunch menus are priced at $9, $19 or $29, and dinner menus at either $19, $29 or $39, depending on the restaurant.
“Eat Like a Local Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to try out some of the most outstanding locally owned restaurants in Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key, Sarasota, Siesta Key and Venice,” said Sarah Firstenberger, Executive Director of the Sarasota-Manatee Originals. “With nearly every type of culinary experience imaginable represented, this is the perfect time to taste your way through our award-winning local restaurants.”
Due to its overwhelming success, the annual restaurant week has been extended to two weeks (Oct. 1-14), allowing visitors and locals more time to explore the area’s amazing culinary landscape, added Firstenberger. Local favorites returning this year are Bijou Café, Mattison’s and PIER 22. Diners are asked to share their experiences on social using the hashtag #EatLikeaLocal941.
