Take-Out or Dine-In, Primo Ristorante Has Been Serving Sarasota-Bradenton Since 1986

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we are featuring one of our favorite Italian restaurants, Primo Ristorante in Sarasota!  In business for 35 years, Chef-Owner, Maurizio Colucci is so proud of his team, friends and customers who have been so loyal to him over the years.

“You have to adapt.”  That is what Maurizio said when we spoke about the challenges of keeping a restaurant open during a pandemic.  “We do our best to respect the wishes of our loyal customers” he mentioned during our chat.  And, Primo certainly has adapted!

Primo Ristorante a History of Amazing Food

Pictured above are 3 of my favorite pals, Afaf, Manal and Rola!  They, along with Chef Alberto  have over 70 combined years working at Primo.  Add in “Maurizio” and that’s over 100 years of working at Primo.  Oh my!  All 3 sisters are awesome, but totally different personalities.  And every so often they share family stories with me that have me belly laughing!  They are working hard 6 days a week.  They have become known as the “Take-Out-Nuts”.  Yes, take-out is huge at Primo.  While you certainly have the option of dining in at their spacious dining room where all Covid19 precautions are taken, they certainly love doing take-out orders!

Your order can be delivered by Uber Eats or Bite Squad.  And of course, you can call in your order ahead for pick-up!  They are open Tuesday-Sunday, 4-8pm.
