Mr. and Mrs. Crab Seafood Restaurant Opens in Bradenton

There’s a new seafood restaurant in Bradenton. Mr. and Mrs. Crab is open in the Orange Blossom Plaza at 497 Cortez Road. It is owned and operated by the same folks who own Kumo Japanese Steakhouse. We have been there twice in the last couple of weeks and really enjoyed ourselves!

Located in the former World of Beer location, this restaurant looks like a winner. Great bar with a fabulous selection of beer, wine and liquor and a nice seafood menu. Featuring a Cajun style of cooking known as “Juicy Seafood”, it is really catching on all over the country. Restaurant manager, Deron Harris says that “they pride themselves in a unique type of seafood in a Cajun fare which includes locally caught fish!” He’s passionate in what he does and wants every patron to have a fabulous dining experience.

The restaurant features a nice outdoor dining area, private party room and a fun family atmosphere. One of the great menu items is “Make Your Own Seafood Combo” where you can choose from Blue Crab, Shrimp, Snow Crab Legs, Crawfish, Clams, Manila Clams, Green Mussel, Black Mussel and Sausage. You pick a ½ lb. of a minimum of any 2 items and it comes with corn and potatoes. Really good!

If you’re looking for a new and unique Cajun seafood experience you have to check out Mr. and Mrs. Crab. Oh, besides their dinner menu, they have some wonderful appetizers including Fried Calamari, Chicken Wings, Steamed Oyster and more.

And, sports fans…. All your favorite games are on big-screen TV’s throughout the restaurant.
