Mattison’s Forty-One to Host Exclusive ZD Wine Pairing Dinner

Join ZD Wine aficionado John Buckey and Chef Paul Mattison on Thursday, April 21st at 6:30 pm as they present an exclusive wine pairing dinner featuring Napa Valley ZD Wines. Chef Paul has crafted a multi-course menu that perfectly compliments the wines in the ZD portfolio.

The event will be held at Mattison’s Forty-One in the private Galleria. Reservations are required by calling 941-921-3400.

ZD Wines was founded by the Zepponi and DeLeuze families, where the husbands and close friends, Gino and Norman, had been aerospace engineers. Their quality control measure was ZD “Zero Defects.” Founded in 1969, ZD Wines is now owned and operated by the deLeuze family. ZD Wines is a family business committed to producing world-class wines, farming organically, and providing first-class hospitality to guests while supporting many charitable efforts locally and throughout the country. ZD continues to recognize 52 years of winemaking with each release from the 2018 vintage with a new 50th Anniversary celebratory label, as the second and third generations of the deLeuze family carry on the family legacy.

Situated in picturesque Rutherford, CA, surrounded by gorgeous vineyards, ZD is a favorite wine country destination for those who enjoy world-class Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 1999, ZD’s Rutherford and Carneros Estates have been certified organic by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). Founder Norman deLeuze believed that great wines are made from healthy vines, and today his original commitment to sustainability is carried on in the winery’s approach to organic farming.

Chef Paul Mattison owns three local restaurants and a catering company operating in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida. All three Mattison’s Restaurants have chef-inspired menus and include all-natural, antibiotic, hormone-free ingredients and sustainably sourced and provincial products from small family farms that share his passion for healthy food.
