Mattison’s Weekend Brunch is about to get kicked up a notch. Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille in Downtown Bradenton is excited to introduce their brand new “Build your own Bloody Mary Bar”!

Now on Saturday’s and Sunday’s you can get a customized Bloody Mary or Bloody Maria! The quintessential brunch cocktail will take on new meaning with over 15 different garnishes and endless combinations. Garnishes will range from the expected like celery, lemons, limes and horseradish to the unexpected, but most welcome ones, such as Gulf shrimp, Niman Ranch house made bacon (best bacon you’ll ever taste), pepperonis and capicola cubes, bleu cheese and goat cheese stuffed olives, hard boiled eggs, bacon pepper jack skewers and pickled green beans – taking your customized Bloody Mary creation to a whole other level of goodness. It’s all about personal preference. Make it as spicy or as mild as you like or somewhere in between with just enough heat or tang to make it perfect for you.

Mattison’s bartenders will start you off with a delicious Bloody Mary mix base and from there you can Build it up, Spice it up and Brand it up with your choice of garnishes and preferred brand of Vodka. Pepper, along with hot sauces and other liquid extras such as Worcestershire sauce, will be on hand to give it just the right personal flavor profile. Bloody Maria’s are also available with a wide variety of Tequila’s to choose from.

Mattison’s Brunch menu features a wide variety of plated selections using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients such as Niman Ranch Petit Filet for the Steak and Eggs or the Roasted Vegetable Frittata made with a perfect combination of zucchini, squash, spinach, bell pepper and mozzarella cheese. Indulge in the French Toast stuffed with seasonal fruits and cream cheese topped with warm syrup or try the three-egg omelet made with Niman Ranch ham, roasted onions, cheddar and tomatoes. There are also vegetarian options like the Breakfast Sundae, a delicious layering of fresh seasonal fruit, Greek yogurt, wildflower honey and toasted granola, all gluten free.
