Kid Friendly Restaurants in Sarasota/Bradenton

Do you know any kid friendly restaurants in the area?  Just what exactly constitutes a kid friendly place to eat?  I ask this because I don’t have kids.  So, I am trying to find out if there are eateries that set themselves apart as such.

Apparently there is something to this mystery place that I know nothing about.  I keep seeing this question posted with different variations like, not a chain restaurant, etc. on my Facebook feed from various groups that I am affiliated with.  So, I gathered the recommendations from all the people in the know of tested and recommended kid-friendly restaurants in the Sarasota and Bradenton area.

Below are the top recommend kid-friendly area restaurants.

Caddy’s at the Pointe, 801 Riverside Drive East, Bradenton.  According to the recommendations, Caddy’s has sand toys and seating is outdoors.  Nice water location, a cool drink and music for the parents too.

Kid friendly restaurant in Sarasota/BradentonDanny’s Pizzeria, 7220 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton. Danny’s is open 7 days a week and notes on their Facebook page that this place is good for kids. There is outdoor seating and the reviews are very good.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar, numerous locations. This small restaurant chain runs special promotions throughout the year regarding menu prices for children.  The children’s menu has several good selections too. If your child isn’t a seafood lover, no worries.  They have something for the pickiest eater.

Popi’s at Lakewood Ranch, 5820 Ranch Lake Blvd, Bradenton.  Popi’s serves breakfast as well as lunch and dinner.  Outdoor dining is available too. They have an extensive children’s menu and affordably priced.  This is a popular place, especially on the weekends so come early.

Yoder’s , 3434 Bahia Vista St, Sarasota.  According to one recommendation, Yoder’s has a treasure hunt for the kids after their meal. I grew up nearby an Amish community in the Midwest, their food reminds me of home.

Neli’s Deli, Market & Catering, 15 South Beneva Rd. Sarasota.  Open for breakfast and lunch.  They close at 3:30PM.  They have an extensive menu with sandwiches, salads and soups.  I checked out their reviews on Facebook and everyone raves about them. This looks like a good healthy option for eating out.

California Pizza Kitchen, 192 Cattleman Drive, Sarasota.  For low-carb eaters, they now have cauliflower crust. The children’s menu offers more than just pizza too.  I checked out their adult beverage options and I would order the strawberry lime margarita if I were you.

I guess the mystery has been solved!  There is such a thing as kid-friendly places to eat in the Sarasota area.
