It Was a Wonderful ‘Friends & Family’ Opening at the New Blasé Bistro & Martini Bar in Sarasota
After many months of hard work and development, the team at the Blasé Bistro & Martini Bar were ready to show off their new restaurant.
Business Partner, Kevin Skeist, explained to me that they, “ wanted to have an intimate pre-opening with some friends and family.”
What a fabulous evening! Our team from the Sarasota Post got a chance to talk with the staff and also the owner, Cindy Breslin, who is a gem! Cindy owns Blasé Café and 3.14 Pi pizza & craft beer on Siesta Key as well as this new one. I got to know Kevin over the last year quite well.
The team at Sande Caplin & Associates has been developing a new website for the Bistro for the last several months. The initial roll-out of the site will be today and upgrades will be made on a daily basis!
Kevin and Cindy shared some of the menu with me. The restaurant will be offering a French / Mediterranean cuisine featuring Crispy Whole Red Snapper, several Bistro Steaks, Dry Boat Scallops, Pasta Cynthia, and a variety of homemade pastas. I had a chance to sample a few…. Oh, so delicious. And, save room for dessert. They have a wonderful selection and, after sampling a few, I fell in love!
When you walk into the restaurant you will enjoy the look and ambiance of the place. With wonderful pictures on the walls, interesting furniture and fixtures, and a beautiful bar, you’re sure to have a relaxing and romantic experience!
The restaurant is open Monday-Saturday from 5pm till midnight. There is a great Happy Hour from 5-7pm. Stay tuned to the Sarasota Post for more information about this fabulous new restaurant which will include Sunday Brunch and lunch in the near future.
The restaurant, located at 1920 Hillview street in Sarasota, will have its official opening today, Thursday, November 14. It’s located within view of Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
