Good Liquid Brewing Company in Bradenton- Great Beer and more!

There is a new micro-brewery in Bradenton Florida. The Good Liquid Brewing Company opened a few months ago at 4824 14th Street. It is located in the shopping center behind Hooters where Fuzzy’s Tacos is located along with the Grand Buffet Chinese restaurant.

I had the opportunity to spend some time there yesterday with my partner, James who has been there several times and recommends it very highly. They have 30 different beers that they micro-brew “in house,” along with their own coffee roaster.

The owners, Mike and Sandra Krail are originally from South Carolina and moved to the Suncoast a few years ago. Mike has been involved with brewing since he as 18 and went to school at the American Brewers Guild. After he graduated he was a partner at Legal Remedy Brewing in Rock Hill, SC. Sandra who is a licensed nurse also has several years as a QA Manager, Brewer’s Assistant and was a Cellar Technician at a small production brewery / pub in South Carolina.

Courtney and Phil served us yesterday and were quite knowledgeable in the different types of beers that were available. We started with some “Tasters” which are available for $1.50 ea. I fell in love with the “Blond Ale” which is a bright golden color with mild hop flavor that was light, refreshing and very tasty. James favorite was the “Orange Wheat” which had just the right amount of spicy taste and a hint of orange peel. We were a bit hungry and enjoyed Cuban Sandwiches from the Holy Smokes Food Truck from Myakka City. They were awesome. There is almost always a food truck parked behind back of the brewery. And don’t forget there is a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop a few stores down!

It was a wonderful afternoon! We had so much fun drinking beer, eating great food and sharing some fabulous stories with our new friends. I would recommend that you stop by and spend some time at this great new establishment. There are also board games to enjoy and plans for live entertainment and outdoor beer festivals.
