Good Eats, Unique Drinks, Cool Vibe At Twisted Fork in Port Charlotte

If you are looking for an easy-going vibe, great food, unique surroundings, headliner bands and cool drinks, Twisted Fork Restaurant and Bar in Port Charlotte is your mainstay.  Located off of El Jobean Road, just west of 41, you can stop in for a weeknight treat, before your Saturday Sam’s haul, or after a day at the beach.  And whether you are in the mood for traditional or quirky, their extensive food and drinks menu has you covered.

Everything about Twisted Fork is fun.  From the incredible Back Porch Live musical lineup and massive stage set up, stopping in for a quick bite often leads guests to linger for great outdoor music alongside great eats and drinks from the restaurant.  On a recent trip to Twisted Fork, we were instantly seated, and drink orders taken within minutes of our arrival.  Although busy for a Tuesday night, our waitress was attentive with drink refills and special requests we presented.  We weren’t there for a full meal, but our appetizers included bacon glazed brussel sprouts on a bed of goat cheese, truffle tots and wings.  The flavors were all so good and we had no complaints at all.  The vibe was fun, so we actually stayed and ordered more drinks which our waitress was eager to accommodate.  Walking around looking at the retro cars and bikes and meandering into the Harley shop next door made for a unique evening in the middle of the week.  We had forgotten this local gem is nearby and available for our dining and relaxation pleasure whenever we want.  We will definitely be back.
