Florida’s Gulf Coast Shines in the OpenTable 2024 Top 100 Restaurants List
OpenTable, a leading online restaurant reservation platform, has unveiled its 2024 list of the Top 100 Restaurants in America, highlighting exceptional dining experiences as rated by diners nationwide. This annual compilation is derived from over 14 million verified diner reviews, encompassing ratings, reservation demand, and the proportion of five-star evaluations.
Among the distinguished establishments in the OpenTable list, four Florida restaurants have been honored, with three located along the Gulf Coast:
- Bern’s Steak House in Tampa
- Sails Restaurant in Naples
- Dry Dock Waterfront Grill in Longboat Key
The fourth Florida restaurant recognized is Buccan in Palm Beach.
Bern’s Steak House, situated in Tampa’s Hyde Park district, has been a culinary landmark since 1956. Renowned for its extensive wine collection, boasting over 600,000 bottles, Bern’s offers a unique dining experience that includes a private dessert room with wine-barrel booths.
Sails Restaurant in Naples has rapidly ascended to prominence since its inception seven years ago. Owners Corinne Ryan and Veljko Pavicevic expressed their gratitude, stating, “Seven years ago when we opened Sails Restaurant, we could only dream to have the most amazing team that we have today that are well deserving of these highest accolades.”
Dry Dock Waterfront Grill, located on Longboat Key, offers diners a “polished casual” atmosphere with panoramic views of Sarasota Bay. The restaurant is celebrated for its fresh local grouper and red snapper, providing a quintessential Gulf Coast dining experience.
OpenTable’s Top 100 list serves as a testament to the exceptional culinary offerings across the United States, with Florida’s Gulf Coast establishments earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding contributions to the dining landscape.
